I am essentially a curious person and when I saw the Emotional Salary Barometer™, I thought, I must know what this is all about! I attended one of the first webinars and I loved everything that I could do, know and develop with this tool in my personal life and in relation to my professional life.

I liked it so much that I got in touch with Marisa (a very generous and professional person) and today I am part of the ESB team of facilitators in Chile. Becoming certified meant becoming aware of the power of each of the factors that constitute the Emotional Salary in people’s work and performance. What is covered in the Certification Programme? 

As part of this certification programme you will learn how you deliver training and coaching interventions that explore Emotional Salary. You will become a licensed Emotional Salary Barometer™ trainer and coach and be granted a full licence to use our Leaders Certification programme. We’ll equip you with a toolbox of questions, exercises, and activities that you can use with your clients.

The content of the programme includes:

  • How each of the 10 Emotional Salary factors relates to our work and how they benefit individuals, the team and the organisation.
  • Related behavioural and verbal cues for each of the 10 factors.
  • The interrelationships between the factors and how they fit into four different dimensions (Social, Personal, Professional and Transcendental).
  • Leadership skills, character strengths and values and how they impact Emotional Salary.
  • Copies of all the materials necessary to deliver our Leadership Certification programme.
  • A range of different training and coaching activities you can use with your clients.
  • An opportunity to run a pilot with a team or organisation of your preference using the Emotional Salary Barometer having our full coaching and mentoring throughout the whole process
  • Ongoing support and development from us.

Following successful completion of the programme you will also become one of our licensed trainers and coaches.

What is the structure of the programme?

  • There are approximately 30 hours of training with some additional self-study required.
  • Sessions are delivered weekly online via Zoom and last around 2 hours.
  • Group sessions are small (4-8 people) to ensure that there is plenty of opportunity for exploration and discussion.
  • All sessions are recorded so if you miss a session, you can catch up easily.
  • The sessions are highly interactive with a range of activities, discussions and group work.
  • Participants will be expected to submit a final project which will include an Emotional Salary study of a small team (all resources are provided free of charge by us).

Becoming a certified ESB trainer was a great professional and personal experience: I learned, had fun and made incredible connections from which work and friendships have grown. I especially liked the format of the course, with weekly synchronous group sessions and lots of practice from day one.
